Emma first came to yoga over 30 years ago and it has remained a constant support and inspiration in her life since then. She completed her 200-hour training in 2009 on the very first Camyoga teacher training. She then went on to complete Level 1 and 2 ashtanga vinyasa yoga trainings with renowned senior ashtanga teacher, John Scott, in 2013.  Emma believes that her own daily personal yoga practice has been the best foundation for her to deepen her knowledge and for sharing the joy of yoga.

Emma has enjoyed helping students delve deeper into all aspects of yoga on many foundations courses and has also been a tutor on Camyoga’s yoga teacher training over the last 8 years.

Emma aims to tailor her classes so each individual can discover their own capabilities and find the ease and joy of yoga, she likes to break down movement patterns in order to lay the correct foundations for us to safely approach even the most challenging postures. She emphasises the importance and unity of the breath with movement to encourage a feeling of calm whilst enhancing one’s sense of grounding, strength and discipline. Emma’s teaching style is calm and nurturing, and she warmly welcomes all levels and abilities to her classes.
